                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF GRUBB ROAD MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON THURSDAY
                   THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 9-12, 1992 FOR THE
                   PRESENTATION OF THE "HIXSON SOFTBALL
                   TOURNAMENT" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE
                   HIXSON YOUTH ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Grubb Road between Old Hixson Pike and Mill
       Road on Thursday and Friday, April 9-10, 1992 from 5:00 p.m. to
       9:00 p.m.; on Saturday, April 11, 1992 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00
       p.m.; and on Sunday, April 12, 1992 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.
       for the presentation of the "Hixson Softball Tournament" under 
the
       sponsorship of the Hixson Youth Athletic Association provided 
that
       the sponsors shall set out and pick up all flasher barricades,
       traffic cones and traffic control signs in accordance with the
       traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all
       times, an access lane for emergency vehicles.
